Barbara Bennett is an artist & graphic designer with a profound passion for creative expression. A graduate of the National College of Art & Design, where she earned her BA in Visual Communication in 2017, Barbara's journey into the world of design has been nothing short of remarkable.

After completing her education, Barbara ventured into the design industry, collaborating with various businesses and retail stores, both in Ireland and abroad. Her creative prowess was instrumental in crafting captivating brands, distinctive packaging, and innovative products that left a lasting mark on the design landscape.

In August 2019, Barbara embarked on an adventure to Vancouver, Canada, in pursuit of further design experience. However, her plans were unexpectedly disrupted by the global pandemic, forcing her to return to Ireland in March 2020. The resulting lockdown provided Barbara with an invaluable opportunity to immerse herself in her true passion—painting.

Throughout this period of self-discovery, Barbara honed her craft on a diverse range of mediums. Her innate talent and boundless creativity culminated in the inception of a unique venture—a shoe customisation service. Combining her love for vibrant prints and her fascination with footwear, Barbara hand-paints her original designs onto leather shoes. In June 2020, she unveiled her first collection, which garnered immense attention and acclaim, thanks to the power of social media. Since then, she has embarked on a journey filled with exciting commissions and creative collaborations. barbara has sold her last 3 collections in Brown thomas.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Barbara holds a deep commitment to environmental sustainability. She firmly believes that protecting the environment is as vital as infusing it with beauty. In line with this ethos, Barbara exclusively employs water-based and non-toxic paints, ensuring that her creations do not harm the planet.

Barbara's eccentric prints are a testament to her belief in inspiring others to be bold, vibrant, and fearless in their self-expression. Her designs are a celebration of individuality and the transformative power of artistry.
